This week the children at Blackwood school took part in a traditional Eisteddfod festival.
Eisteddfod is a Welsh festival that celebrates literature, music and creative performances.
The tradition of celebrating the creative arts, in this type of festival, dates back to the 12th century.
As Wales is one of our neighbouring countries, we felt that the children would enjoy the opportunity to be creative and showcase their talents!
